Well Being Monday and Tuesday
For Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th of June we are encouraging all students and families to try out some of the wonderful well-being activities Ms O'Donnell has prepared in the document below. This is the perfect chance to breathe out all the hard work done over the last few weeks in third class and breathe in the summer holidays!

Tower Challenge
Well done to everyone that took part in the tower challenge! We have some excellent engineers in third class. I was so impressed with how tall some of the towers were. Great job everyone! Have a look and see for yourself!

Busy at Home
Happy Birthday to someone who just turned 10 years old on Sunday! Great to see more students busy at home and showing off their talents and skills. Some are working on their typing and baking skills, others are using sweets to help with division- great ideas! Thank you to everyone who is sending me emails.

Everyone has been really busy at home. It's great to see what you've been doing.
We have wonderful students in our class. Congratulations to a winner in the poetry competition, a birthday girl turning nine, highly skilled acrobats, a cyclist, a dancer, an engineer, bakers and talented artists.
Along with all those skills and talents it's wonderful to hear about students that are thinking about others.
Well done to the thoughtful student that made a lovely card to cheer up a neighbour.

Look what we've been doing...
Great to see so many students staying active and keeping busy at home. Lots of people going for walks, cycling, baking, doing yoga, playing on trampolines, designing t-shirts and doing Science experiments. Some students had big news with birthday celebrations, a new puppy and even a letter from the President!

Hi Class,
I hope you and your families are keeping well.
It is such a strange time at the moment but the best thing we can do until COVID-19 passes is to stay positive and keep our minds and bodies active. I like to do this by going for walks, reading, listening to podcasts, baking, cooking and doing some yoga!

World Book Day 2020
We made monster bookmarks to celebrate World Book Day.
Engineers Week
During Engineers Week an engineer from Intel came to talk to us about being an engineer. We also carried out a Balloon Launching experiment. The results were really interesting!
Valentine's Day
Love was in the air when students designed, made and painted clay hearts as gifts for Valentine's Day.
Friendship Week
Friendship Week was a fun week celebrated in school from the 10th-14th of February 2020. Third class were so lucky to be paired with the wonderful students in Junior Infants. We had fun visiting each others classrooms, playing games, reading and playing in the yard together.
Grandparents Day
We celebrated Grandparents Day on January 30th 2020.
