Hi boys & girls,
It's hard to believe we are now in June, the final month of the school year!
This is a nice short week because of the bank holiday so you only have three days of work to complete.
I have included time for you this week to complete a project on a country of your choice for Intercultural Day.
Thank you to everyone who has sent me a photo of your rainbow artwork.
If you haven't sent yours, please do so this week.
I hope you are enjoying the great sunshine.
Please continue to keep me updated with your news and work. I love hearing from you.
Well done on all of the brilliant work, you're doing a great job!

Cake Sale
Look at the wonderful cake sale that our classmate and her sister held. They raised lots of money for St. Francis Hospice. Their bake sale was a great success. What a brilliant achievement.

Things that have made me smile! 8th May 2020
This picture of 'An Samhradh' that I received today made me smile. The bright colours and image of people having fun at the seaside made me look forward to nice days like this to come!
I have been keeping an eye on this bird's nest that was built in some rocks. The first picture with the eggs was taken on April 22nd and I took the picture of the chicks today. They are wagtails. They look well fed and ready to learn to fly!
Send me an email to let me know what made you smile this week!

Hi Class!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend.
I saw some lambs on one of my walks. I tried to get closer to them but the ewe (their mother) got a little bit protective!
Let me know if you have seen any signs of Spring recently.
Looking forward to hearing from you and seeing your pictures!

Here are some ideas to help you stay busy!
- Make a Time Capsule! Here are instructions on how to do so: time_to_create_a_time_capsule.docx
- Keep a diary. Each day write an entry of the things that are happening in your home and in the world. This might be nice to read over in years to come.
- The author Oliver Jeffers is reading a book a day aloud on his website: www.oliverjeffers.com/abookaday You might like to watch and listen to this with your younger siblings! Let me know what you think!
- Art: Pick an area of your garden and imagine what it looks like underground (you could also pick an area of a park that you have visited recently). Draw and colour the trees and plants in your garden, include what you imagine it to look like underground. Here are some ideas to help you get started: inspiration_for_garden_plus_underground_drawing.docx
