WELCOME TO ROOM 3
Hi everyone, hope you all had a lovely June Bank Holiday, I will be uploading a video on our Seesaw page later this afternoon to share all my news from the bank holiday weekend. I would really love if some of you could also send me some pictures of some of the fun things you got up to this weekend. One piece of news which I will be sharing later is all about a family of ducks that came to visit my mum and dads garden in Cork over the weekend. There was great excitement in the park.
Once again work for this week is up on our Seesaw page.

Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well. I am so proud and impressed of the boys in Room 3 who have been working really hard on all their activities on the Seesaw app. I have been receiving videos of Science Experiments happening at home, voice recordings of the boys reading and doing their sounds, screen recordings of their writing activities and lots of lovely pictures with lovely smiling faces. Myself, Mrs Daly and Mrs Corduff love seeing these pictures and videos, they really cheer us up. We miss you all so much.
I am still enjoying going on all my walks and I love seeing all the baby animals in the countryside. I'm still doing lots of baking and trying new recipes, I made a 1,000 piece Disney jigsaw and I'm having lots of zoom calls and quizzes with friends and family.
Keep safe everyone.

It has been a very funny few weeks but the parents of the children in Room 3 have been telling me how well all the boys are doing. Hearing this makes myself, Mrs Corduff and Mrs Daly very happy. We have been using the Seesaw app for the past week. The children all have access to their individualised work and group activities which they can do by including their siblings or other family members. I have uploaded a number of E-books from Twinkl onto the platform and recorded my voice over these stories to bring a little bit of 'normal' to what is a very strange and unusual time. I have received some fantastic pictures to show me what you have all been getting up to. I've also been busy taking some photos of some of the things I've been doing. Here are some of them.
During these times some of the most important activities you can do with your child are life skill tasks. The best way to introduce and teach life skills is using a variety of task analysis. I have included a number of samples on our Seesaw page but for any visitors to our class here are some samples.
I have uploaded a number of pictures below to show you all some of the fun and exciting things we have done in school over the past number of months. We cannot wait to get back into Room 3 and work hard with Ms. Irwin, Mrs. Corduff and Mrs. Daly and to play with all our friends again.
Here is a taster of some of the activities we have been doing since Ms Irwin started in Room 3 at the beginning of October.
