Maths Trail

Miss McCormack's 4th class, our friends from friendship week, prepared a brilliant Maths trail for our class. We had a great time searching for the answers all over the school and school grounds.

April 2019 - Active Schools Week

We had loads of fun on Active Schools Week. We did Zumba with Miss Milner, yoga with Miss Dillon and PE with Miss McCormack's 4th class. We also took part in the school marathon, running lots of laps on yard.

Gardening in Spring Time

We dug up weeds, turned the soil and planted some carrot and sunflower seeds. We can't wait to see how they grow over the next few months.

March 2019 - World Book Day

We all dressed up as our favourite book characters on World Book Day. We enjoyed reading our books in the library and designed our own book covers for our favourite books.

February 2019 - Friendship Week

We had great fun with Ms. McCormack's 4th class on Friendship Week. They helped us to make Valentines cards, read books and do free writing. We played lot of games together on yard as well.

January 2019 - Grandparents Day

We loved hearing stories from our Grandparents about their school days and the types of toys they used to play with. We all played Deir O Gradaigh together and it was great fun. It was a great pleasure to have them in our classroom.

January 2019 - Garda Visit

On January 25th, Garda Fiona & Garda Derek visited the Senior Infants classes to talk to them about road safety & the job a garda does every day. We got to try on the uniform, test out the handcuffs and even had our fingerprints taken. The infants really enjoyed it!
