Salmon of Knowledge Statue
A big thank you to our former principal Mrs. Mescal for our wonderful new statue of the Salmon of Knowledge, representing our school locality of Leixlip and the harp which is on our school crest.
This was a very generous gift from Mrs. Mescal, which we absolutely love.
We wish her all the best in her new school.

Intel Mini Scientist Competition
On Thursday the 26th of November, we welcomed three judges to Scoil Mhuire to judge the amazing projects 5th Class had been working on since September. All projects were of an exceptionally high calibre and we were so proud of their presentation skills on the day. All projects boasted really interesting topics, such as what drink affects teeth the worst, brain concentration levels, solar panels and the ability of the Burj Khalifa to withstand earthquakes. So much time and effort went into investigating and experimenting, as well as designing stunning display boards and writing up report booklets. Táimid bródiúil astu go léir i Scoil Mhuire!!!!
