Our Deputy Principal Mrs. McAuliffe leaves us after 38 years teaching in Scoil Mhuire. She has been an exceptional teacher and mentor to all staff and students down through the years and she will be deeply missed. Our sincerest gratitude to Mrs. McAuliffe for the huge contribution she has made to the children and families of Leixlip over the past 38 years. We wish her the very best for the new road ahead.

Mrs. McAuliffe will be deeply missed by the staff of Scoil Mhuire.
Mrs. McAuliffe received a rapturous welcome from the staff and students when she arrived in Assembly. She is held in high esteem by everyone in our school.
Each class made a card and had something nice to say about Mrs. McAuliffe as they presented it to her.
Fifth and Sixth Class sang one of Mrs. McAuliffe's favourite songs, "May the Road Rise to Meet You".
Representatives from our Student Council and Green Schools Committee presented Mrs. McAuliffe with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and some gifts from the students of Scoil Mhuire.
At the end of our Assembley, Mrs. McAuliffe had some lovely words of praise and encouragement for our school and our students. We will miss Mrs. McAuliffe's kindness, generosity of spirit and dedication to our students and staff.
