Active Schools Week 2021
The 26th-30th of April was Active Schools Week 2021. We thoroughly enjoyed doing the 'Wake Up, Shake Up' every morning, as well as doing races, learning dances and skipping. We even learned the Jerusalema Dance.
We got a special delivery of pea seeds for being such amazing picker pals. We cannot wait to see them grow. We have also planted some potatoes.
We have continued with 'Picker Pals' in April. Look at our fantastic litter pickers this month.
1st Class have been working so hard since returning to school after Easter. We are learning a lot about the farm. We even got a visit from some lambs! Take a look at our hard work -->

We made models of our own houses or our dream homes.
World Book Day
We enjoyed dressing up and brought in our favourite books. We made bookmarks and read to our partner.

The Water Cycle
We learned about the Water Cycle in S.E.S.E. We sang 'Incy Wincy Spider' to help us remember the different steps. We made our own Water Cycle's using paper plates.
We are still having great fun on our litter picking adventures every weekend!
We have been learning about Patterns in Maths. We used links and cubes to make our own patterns with the other children in our pod.

Our class have been chosen to take part in an initiative called 'Picker Pals'. Each week, a child in the class will go on a litter picking adventure with their family. We got off to a great start last weekend and can't wait to hear about more adventures in the future!
We completed a Gummy Bear investigation. We left the Gummy Bears over the weekend and could not belive the results when we returned to school!
Well done to all the boys and girls on a fantastic half term in 1st class. Everyone has settled back to school really well and I am so proud of all of you. Have a lovely break and I am looking forward seeing everyone again in a week!
