Roles have been reversed in 4th class! The students have been busy teaching Ms. O'Dea all about different topics of interest to them, from how to make elephant toothpaste and why the Earth is round to facts about dogs and pandas.

Friendship Week

Friday: Today we taught our buddy a dance to the song'Everybody dance'. We also decorated buns to celebrate the end of friendship week!

Thursday: Today we zoomed our buddy class and asked each other lots of questions! We also made friendship cards:)

Tuesday: Today we listened to the story of the Rainbow Fish and created our own 'Friendship Fish'. Each time someone shows us an act of kindness we will write it on a scale and add it to our fish. Later in the day we went skipping with our buddy class!

Monday: We started off the week by meeting our buddy class. We organised outdoor P.E stations for them. We all had great fun!

Today we took part in a St. Brigid's Day storytelling webinar. We finished the day by making our own St. Brigid's Day crosses!

Italian PenPals

Before Christmas we began a Pen Pal programme with children in a school in Verona, Italy. We wrote and sent off our postcards before Christmas. We were so excited to finally receive our postcards back from Italy this week!

Starting the new year off on a positive note!
4th class took part in a Well-being workshop this week which provided us with the tools to feel good and strong in our bodies and minds. Afterwards we thought of 3 personal goals for the year 2022 :)

The Late Late Toy Show

Today 4th class presented their own Toy Show! The children uploaded a video to SeeSaw of them showcasing their favourite toy. We had great fun watching all the acts. We hope you all enjoy the Toy Show tonight :)

Football with Coach Ciarán

We had our last session with Coach Ciarán today. We even got to visit Leixlip GAA pitch and play a match. We have learned lots of new football skills, thank you Ciarán!

Active break challenge

We have been taking active breaks for 10mins everyday to help our school earn their Active Flag. We have been running laps, playing yard games, doing zumba, exercises and yoga.
