Sports Day 2019
We are learning about wildflowers in science. We enjoyed our walk to the wildflower bed near Scoil Mhuire today.
The River Shannon
In geography, we learned about the journey of the River Shannon from it's source in the Cuilcagh Mountains, Co.Cavan to the Shannon Estuary in Limerick. We traced maps of Ireland, highlighting the River Shannon and its lakes and tributaries. We sketched swans that you may see along the River Shannon. We also read the story of the Children of Lir in history. In our English writing hardbacks we completed recount writing pieces on The Journey of the River Shannon.

Have a look at our Chinese Dragons! We completed projects on China. We also learned about China in Geography and History this term.
Grandparent's Day was so much fun in our class. We really enjoyed playing different card games with all of the grandparents that came to visit us.
