Our task was to build a bridge over a piece of blue card (the river). Each group was given a different type of building material to work with and the results were fantastic. Everyone had so much fun being engineers for the day.

Science Week
In Junior Infants, we carried out lots of experiments for Science Week. We attached cars to magnets and moved them without touching using larger magnets. We watched skittles to change water to all the different colours of the rainbow and we turned celery sticks different colours using food dye. We had great fun carrying out our experiments.

Our First Day in Junior Infants
We had a wonderful first day in Scoil Mhuire. We played with toys, sang 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes', played in the yard and listened to a story. We really enjoyed ourselves and are looking forward to coming back tomorrow.
