In The Garden
We have been busy with our friends in Senior Infants planting in our school garden this month.
We have learned all about planting barley seeds and will be watching them grow over the coming weeks.

Friendship Week
Some of the wonderful boys and girls from 3rd Class came to visit us as part of Friendship Week.
The children had great fun playing board games and interacting.

World Book Day 2023
We enjoyed a Book Club Breakfast with our friends, made some lovely bookmarks, visited the library and read some lovely stories!

Show and Tell
The class brought in their favourite toy for Fantastic Friday and presented it to each other and then to our friends in Room 3. They all did a wonderful job!
Pancake Tuesday
We had great fun learning all about Shrove Tuesday and pancake making!

The Tiger Who Came to Tea

The book "The Tiger Who Came to Tea" has been a great focus for us this month.
The children have really enjoyed the story and we linked it closely to English and Art.

Halloween
We opened a potion shop to help us learn more about money and counting during Maths week.
The children displayed their pumpkins, we created some lovely art pieces and made Halloween cookies with our friends in Room 3.
There was story telling with our friend from 5th Class and Halloween games.
It has been a busy and really fun October in our class!
Hula Hoop Workshop
The children enjoyed learning all about hula hooping at a workshop in the school!
Jersey Day 2022
We helped to raise some much needed funds for the charity GOAL

There has been lots of independent and group work along with meeting our friends in Niamh's class next door!
