Fun in the Sun!
Today we enjoyed our Teddy Bear Picnic in the sunshine. We had yummy ice-pops to cool down.
Waffles the Wonderful Magician
We really enjoyed the magic show today. Waffles was very funny. She made a silly animal come out of her hat! After the show we got ice-cream from the ice-cream van!

Intercultural Day
We learnt about Brazil. The capital of Brazil is Brasilia. It is the 5th largest country in the world. We drew pictures of some of the animals in the Amazon Rainforest. We even learnt how to sing 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' in Portuguese.
Sports Day
Sports Day was so much fun. We did lots of different activities.

We had a special delivery to Senior Infants. Meet Jingles the Elf! We have been learning all about the Post Office in Aistear. We wrote letters to Santa and Jingles the Elf.

Do you think you could stand on a balloon without popping it?
We investigated this in Senior Infants this week for Science. We turned a table upside down and placed balloons under it. The balloons could hold 3 people at once!

We rubbed balloons on our heads to create static electricity. The balloon then made our hair stand up! We investigated what other things the balloons would lift up.
