In Scoil Mhuire we love to enjoy art and regularly look at famous paintings and discuss them. Many museums and galleries have been asking people to recreate famous paintings. We'd like you to do the same.

Declan O’Toole Memorial Poetry Competition 2020
'My Hobbies'
This is the 24th year of the Declan O’ Toole Poetry/Illustration competition which has been running every year since Declan passed away at the young age of 6, while he was a student in Scoil Mhuire.
3rd – 6th : Write a poem
(decorate the poem as you please)
Junior Inf - 2nd: Draw a picture
to illustrate the theme
(if any child at this level wishes to write a poem, they can)
The winner will be presented with the perpetual trophy which they can keep for a year and will receive an engraved medal.
There is also a medal awarded to the top poem in each class.
